Squashes, broomsticks and witches

As the beautiful Autumn colours gradually begin to appear, my thoughts are turning to pumpkins and Halloween. I found these two ladies lurking on the balcony this morning.  I’m sure they mean no harm.

Emma’s Fabric Studio – Open Day this Sunday

I am grateful to Emma Fountaine who contacted me this week to invite members of the Aylesford Knitting Group to her fabric and yarn Open Day this Sunday, 6 October.  The event runs between 11am and 4pm and is being held in the historic 15th century Tithe Barn in Lenham.  Apparently, they will be offering ploughman’s lunches and cream teas, in keeping with the surroundings!  Emma tells me there is lots of parking available and entry is free.
There is also a 10% off offer on her Facebook page, available for use on Sunday: www.facebook.com/emmasfabricstudio  And whilst you’re out and about on Sunday, don’t forget the home wares event in aid of the Heart of Kent Hospice, at the Friars in Aylesford.
