My children may be well into their 20s now, but we will all still share our favourite Christmas story this Christmas Eve – Mog’s Christmas by Judith Kerr. I’ve found our story tape (yes, we still have a cassette player!) and I’ve also knitted two ‘Mogs’ to join us.
I knitted my ‘Mogs’ by adapting Kath Dalmeny’s Four Knitted Cats pattern. Find her collection of knitted animal patterns on Ravelry.
Here at handmadebysoo towers there has been a lot of work going on as our lovely team of builders create a new reception hall, office, cloakroom and SEWING ROOM (!) from our old, dark workshop. Fuelled by tea and handmadebysoo cake (sorry, Mrs G!) the lads have made fantastic progress and will down tools this evening for the final time before Christmas. So what better way to mark the beginning of their Christmas holidays than to yarn bomb their site!
They got some woolly mince pies … and some real ones, too!
Happy Christmas Andrew, Oliver and Edward!
The Fenton Knitting Group is now on Christmas holidays, following our evening of mulled cider and mini Stollen. We will reconvene on Tuesday 5 January.
Happy Christmas Knitting.
