It’s a winning combination! Our Japanese guest crafter will be baking traditional fruit scones for the meeting of the Aylesford Knitting Group tomorrow, Tuesday, 29 April. Don’t miss this treat!
The Aylesford Knitting Group meets every Tuesday evening in Soo’s kitchen in Aylesford. Here’s a picture!
If you’d like to join us in the kitchen, please email email@example.com.
As we can’t wait the whole summer through before our next meeting on 10 September, the Aylesford Knitting Group is holding a Knitting Picnic on Wednesday 28 August from 3pm. Everyone is welcome, members and non-members. New to knitting? Why not come along and see what the AKG is all about?
We shall be meeting at The Friars in Aylesford ME20 7BX
http://www.thefriars.org.uk/ at 3pm by the tea rooms before spreading our (hand knitted or crocheted!) blankets in the grounds and enjoying some good food, a natter and a bit of outdoor knitting.

And here’s one I made earlier!
Since I taught myself to crochet granny squares, watching Catherine Hirst’s (http://www.catherinehirst.com/) amazing Youtube video, I’m always looking out for visual guides. Follow this link to a whole world of craftsy how tos. There’s even one especially for Emma! Mummy just has to make you this most adorable giraffe! This one belongs to Martha Bilski. You can find the details of the DVD showing you how to make him, here:
After a week off for CATS, The School Production, I am all yours again this week, ladies. Looking forward to seeing you again at 6pm. Dee Dee has missed you!
